There’s a story behind this image. I had always had long and thick hair. It was my mane, I suppose, being a Leo the Lion and all. But my hair owned me and I got mad one “Bad Hair Day” and had it all cut off. It’s never been that short again. But it was the most liberating thing I had ever done. And it took courage, believe me. Unfortunately it was also just before my Christmas book was published and I had a professional photo taken for the back cover.
